| Greater Mahajan Sabha to set up women’s wing | | |

The second working committee meeting of Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha was held here today which was presided over by its President Kundan Lal Gupta and discussed various issues..
The meeting was told about the working of marriage bureau centre, Family dispute centre, Women vocational centre and counseling centre, run by the Sabha in the city and the progress made on these fronts so far..
On the occasion a committee was constituted for the counseling centre functioning at Canal road which will be headed by retired, Chief Engineer Krishan Lal Gupta. The other members of the committee include JMC Corporator Bansi Lal Gupta, Prof. Virender Gupta, Suresh Gupta, S.K. Gupta, K.C. Gupta, Prem Gupta, Amrit Sagar Gupta, R.C. Gupta, and Y.R. Gupta.
In the meeting members unanimously decided to set up a women’s wing of the Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha to be headed by Prof. Vijay Laxmi Gupta of Trikuta Nagar and this wing will be made stronger by including reputed women of the Sabha from Trikuta Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Channi Himmat and Jammu City.
