JSSM protests against discrimination over delimitation process

In order to register their protest against the alleged discriminatory policy vis-à-vis the ongoing delimitation process, the activists of Jammu State Students Morcha (JSSM) today held a demonstration in Jammu University (JU) campus and also burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The activists were demanding a fair approach to the said process keeping in view the demands and aspirations of the people of Jammu province. They sought the inclusion of factors like topography, geography and demography for consideration while delimiting the new electoral constituencies for the Jammu province. The activists also burnt the effigy of Chief Minister and exhorted upon the youth of Jammu province to fight for their rights. They further warned the state government of dire consequences if their demands were not heeded at the earliest. Among those spoke on the occasion were Kapil Dev, Munish Gandotra, Sushant, Zaffer, Kamal, Peter etc.
