| JU Controller Exam office gheroaed by students | | |

The activists of National Conference Students Union (NCSU) and Jammu State Students Morcha (JSSM) today gheroaed the office of Controller Examination, University of Jammu (JU) in protest against the delay in the process of result declarations. The students were demanding immediate declaration of the all the pending results within shortest possible time.
The protestors led by Vikas Sharma and Sunil Sharma entered the Controller Examination section while shouting slogans against the malfunctioning of the wing. They also demanded the issuance of copy of answer sheets for complete transparency in the evaluation process. Later they gheraoed the Office of Controller Examination and confined the officials there for over 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the protestors were pacified with the assurance of Controller Examination, Prof Deshbandhu Gupta to expedite the process of evaluation and re evaluation at earliest.
