A one day convention of Congress workers was held at Argi in Kalakote constituency today in which a large number of Congress activists from the area participated.
Addressing the convention, PCC general Secretary, Ashok Sharma, MLC, highlighted the programme and policies of congress led Govt. He emphasized on congress workers to become bridge between people and the government and also demanded creation of Rural Development Block. He also urged for construction of lift irrigation schemes at Sarnoo, that Argi and other areas.
He also called for providing adequate doctors, para medical staff Kalakote.
Others who were present include Yashpal Sharma, Som Raj Khajuria, M.Y. Mughal, Ch. Qamar Hussain, Sanjeev Mangoo, Khaliq Hussain and Kewal Koul.
