| 3 Killed, 7 injured in road mishaps | | |

Three persons were killed and seven others suffered injuries in different road accidents during the last 24 hours in Jammu city and its outskirts. According to reports one Irfan Shan (16 Yrs) S/o Gulzar Shan R/o Shani Masjid Mastgrin, died on spot when his scooter was hit by a Van at Nagrota. Police took the body to GMC for postmortom and also registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. In another incident one person namely Balwant Singh S/o Duni Singh R/o Phalotha died on spot when truck No. JK02D-1185 on way from Udhampur towards Chanderkot rolled down in the areas. One Ropinder Singh S/o Kulbir Singh R/o Subash Nagar Udhampur succumbed his injuries in the hospital when his M/Cycle No. JK14A-2509 met with an accident near Slathia Chowk Udhampur. The injured are: Ritika S/o Rajinder Kumar R/o Qasim Nagar, hit by M/Car at Qasim Nagar, Mohinder Pal S/o Girdhari Lal R/o Bishnah, hit by M/Cycle at Bishnah, Ritu Dogra W/o Sushil R/o Janipur, hit by M/Cycle at Pacca Danga, Surjeet Singh S/o Kesar Ram, Gurjeet Singh S/o Amarjeet Singh R/o Upper Gadi Garh, scooter hit by M/Cycle at Gadi Garh, Monika Sharma W/o Raj Kumar R/o Himachal Pardesh, Maruti Car hit by Matador at Rajinder Parshad Chowk Jammu, Gurdeep Singh S/o Ajit Singh R/o Tiba Bishnah M/Cycle hit by Scorpio Car at Narwal. The injured were admitted in GMC Jammu.
