| Pahari welfare forum demands ST status | | |

The activists of Pahari Cultural and Welfare forum in a meeting held today expressed their grave concern over the callous attitude of the state govt for not acceding to their genuine demand of granting them ST status.
As per a press release, chairman of the forum, Sharafat Ali Khan asked the chief minister to fulfill his commitment made with the people and requested him to refrain from delaying tactics. In the meeting members warned the government against dire consequences, if no attention is paid towards their demand.
