Pahari Welfare forum today constituted women wing in the presence of its chairman, Sharafat Ali Lehan, who is on extensive tour of Poonch & Rajouri.
The elected district body of Pahari Women includes Shoba Bhandari as President, Shaheen Akhter as Senior Vice-president, Madumeet Sasan as Vice-President, Bimla Sharma as general Secretary, Mohinder Kour and Suraya Bano as joint secretaries, Yasmin Bandey as Advisor, Taj-un-nissa as chief organizer, Saleema Akhtar as organizer, Harpinder Kour as press Secretary and Anju Bala as Treasurer.
Spaking on the occasion, Sharafat Ali Khan thanked the pahari community for supporting to hold this election and appealed the paharies to remain united. Among others who were present on the occasion include Taj Hussain Shah, Azam Sagar, A.S. Josh, Kamaljeet Singh, Masoodi, Yashpal Sharma, Rashid Khan, Vijay Puri, Abdul Rehman, Surinder Singh, Zaki Haider, Gurdev Singh, Mohd. Zaman and others.
