| ICICI Prudential unveils career program for J&K | | |

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has announced the launch of a specialized course in management and insurance - Post Graduate Program in Management and Insurance (PGPMI). This is a first of its kind program in J&K as well as in India that offers intensive training in management and insurance. On successful completion of the program, the students will be placed in the sales & distribution function of ICICI Prudential as an Executive Trainee.

The life insurance industry has also emerged as one of the largest employers in recent times. The course is a unique blend of classroom and on the job training that will impart students with the necessary skills and confidence to become successful professionals.
ICICI Prudential’s PGPMI has been developed keeping in mind the growing need for talent that has an understanding both in management and insurance. The course is unique because it provides in-depth knowledge of life insurance from a theoretical and practical perspective, and also ensures those who sign up for the program a career with the company.
In order to inform students and their parents about the program, ICICI Prudential is organizing career-cum-job fairs in cities across the country, where students will be given an overview of the program. Interested students will then need to qualify through the selection process to sign up for the program.
In J&K, the career cum job fair is being carried out at Degree College (Boys), Anantnag, on the 14th & 15th of June 2007 & at District Kupwara, Handwara Degree College on the 20th June 2007.
