| Justice Kakru nominated Ex. Chairman SLSA | | |
JAMMU, JUNE 13- First Pusine Judge of the State High Court, Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru, has been nominated as Executive Chairman of State Legal Service Authority (SLSA).
The Acting Chief Justice Aftab Alam, recommended the name of Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru for the post of Chairman and the government issued notification under SRO 208 of June 12, 2007 appointing Justice Kakru as Executive Chairman of the State Legal Service Authority for a period of three years. The said post remained vacant for last six months because of absence of recommendation by former Chief Justice.
In another notification issued by the J&K State High Court, the Acting Chief Justice Aftab Alam has nominated Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru as Chairman of the High Court Legal Service Committee. |
