| Lok Adalat settles 17 cases at Baramulla | | | Srinagar, August 09 – As a part of Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, a Lok Adalat was held today in the District Court Complex Baramulla under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge Baramulla, Mr. Abdul Rashid Bhat.
As many as 17 cases of various nature out of 61 taken up were settled amicably in the Lok Adalat.
Meanwhile as day long Legal Aid awareness camp was also organized at Kanzalwan, Gurez which was presided over by Judicial Magistrate Mr. Arvind Sharma.
On this occasion, speakers highlighted the importance of legal aid services and educated the people about the benefits of the programme.
