| Lightening kills 4, injure 2 in poonch, Rajouri | | |
Jammu, June 14
Tragedy struck in border villages of poonch and Rajouri as four persons were killed and two others injured when lightning strikes some the area in these two districts during last twenty four hours, police said.
Official sources, quoting reports received from the concerned police told that four persons died of lightening while two others were injured, adding that injured have been hospitalized for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Mohd Rashid son of Kaka resident of Bhara Dullion Poonch, Mohd Akbar son of Makhan of Dudasan wala and Mohd Irshad son of Khalik Hussian of Khandrian Kalakote, Rajni Devi wife of Daulat Ram of Pukharani.
Those injured are Jal-ul-din son of Sultan Mohd of Challas Poonch, Mukthiyar Begum wife of Mohd Yousf of Pindi Jmola Rajouri
The incident occurred during night hours when they were sleeping in their respective villages.
