| Bhalla inaugurates tubewell boring at Nanak Nagar | | |

Asserting that providing of basic amenities and other infrastructural necessities to the people at their doorsteps forms the priority of coalition government, MLA Gandhinagar Mr. Raman Bhalla said that tremendous development has been witnessed in every sector in such a short span of time.
Addressing the gathering soon after inaugurating the tubewell boring at Sector 8 Nanak Nagar here this morning, the MLA stressed for strengthening the secular fabric of nation for overall development and prosperity. The tubewell boring project undertaken by ERA would ease the water scarcity problem not only in entire Nanak Nagar area but also the adjoining localities.
Mr. Bhalla said that with the start of boring work, the long pending demand of the inhabitants has been conceded. He said the government is well aware of the sufferings and grievances of public and every effort would be made to redress these on priority.
Highlighting the achievements of government, the MLA said that with the sanction of district status, the Azad government has opened new vistas of prosperity and Khushali for the people of state. He thanked the centre for providing liberal funds for executing development works and raising socio-economic status of the state.
On developing Gandhi Nagar area as model constituency, Mr. Bhalla said that modern and advanced infrastructure besides adequate facilities would be provided in the area to make it a model constituency.
Corporators Mrs. Kailash Rani and Kulbushan Sharma, local leaders, prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
