| DDC chairs total literacy meet in Doda | | |
JAMMU, JUNE 13
District Development Commissioner Doda Mr. Sourabh Bhagat, who is also chairman of Zilla Sakhestra Samiti today presided over meeting held to take stock of achievements made so far in Doda district.
In the meeting, various decisions were taken up to ensure successful implementation of total literacy The survey will be conducted in all three districts i.e Kishtwar, Ramban, Doda and far off places like Marvah.
Among others, District Education and Planning Affairs, Doda Mr. J.M Tharmat, AC(R) C.P.O Doda and motivators, working under T.L.C participated in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting the DDC asked the participants to gear up their efforts and ensure the success of this noble cause of educating the, marginalized sections of society so that the stigma of illiteracy is removed in the neglected areas of District.
