| PSU employees stage protest rally | | |

All Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation held a protest demonstration today against the non- serious attitude of the state government towards their legitimate demands.
Speaking to the demonstrators, Jagmohan Sadhotra a senior leader of the organization criticized the attitude of the State government for adopting divide and rule policy and harassing the workers by issuing government transfer orders from their parent organizations to the other departments.
The agitating employees organized a protest rally from SRTC office to Bikram Chowk raising slogans in favor of their demands. They were demanding release of COLA pending for the last four years, conversion of COLA into DA, regularization of daily rated workers, representation of trade union leaders in respective Board of Directors Among others who participated in the demonstration included Ashok Gupta, Mohammed. Iqbal, Ibrahim Bhatti, Ashok Anand, Jagjit Singh, Pawan Sharma, Ram Rattan, Suraj Singh, Rakesh Rampal, Arun Tandon, Kusum Lata, Sham Lal and Ashok Kohli.
