| ATTEMPT TO TARGET BHADERWAH FEST FOILED | | |
Jammu,June 15 ( Security forces in Bhaderwah foiled a militant bid to target Bhaderwah festival by busting a militant hideout and seizing large quantity of arms and amunition from Neoata village.
An unidentified militant was also arrested by the security forces from the hideout in village Neoata in Bhaderwah,official sources said adding that interrogation was still going on.
The security forces seized 250 kg of ration, 5 blankets, two chinese greanade, 1 chinese made pistol, 100 rounds of AK rifles, 4 magazines , I radio set from inside the militant hideout in Bhaderwah.
Meanwhile, two HizbulMujahideen commanders identified as GhulamHassan s/o Abdul Lassa code name Jaffar active since 1995 and Abdul Gani s/o AbdulSattar code name Younis surrendered before the DIG Udhampur-Doda range along with their weapons on Friday .
