| Day-long seminar on VAT held at Kupwara | | |
Srinagar, August 09 –To acquaint the traders about the contours of Value Added Tax (VAT) a day-long seminar was organized by the Sales Tax Department at Kupwara today. About 300 traders attended the seminar.
Sales Tax Commissioner, Kashmir Mr. Abdul Qayoom Shah, who was the chief guest on the occasion, highlighted various aspects of VAT and said that awareness camps to educate the traders about the importance of VAT would be organized through out the nook and corner of the valley.
Present among others were Additional Commissioner Sales Tax, Kashmir and Commercial Tax Officer, Kupwara besides senior officers of various departments. |
