Panun Kashmir holds “SAKSHAATKAAR”

NEW Delhi June,15:
Panun Kashmir the frontline political organization of Kashmiri Pandits worldwide organized the photo exhibition on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus, “SAKSHAATKAAR “An Encounter with truth, in Aggarwal Bhawan, Prashant Vihar Sector 14 Rohini, Delhi on 15th June 2007.
The exhibition will be held for for three days and shall conclude on 17th of this month. This photo exhibition which displays photographs and documents on the various facets of religious cleansing of Kashmiri Hindus in the Kashmir valley is one of the most authentic documentation of the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus
The five main sections of the exhibition depict exodus and camp life, killings of Hindus, destruction of Hindus habitat including plunder of Hindu temples and shrines and the hate campaign against Kashmiri Hindus.
The section depicting destruction of temples is the unique feature of the exhibition and reveals the communal mindset behind the separatist movement in the Jammu and Kashmir state.
The inaugural ceremony was held at 2.30 in the after noon, the former chief minister of Delhi Sh.Sahib Singh Verma and chairman of Panun Kashmir Dr.Ajay Chrangoo were present in the inaugural function.
Dr.Ajay Chrangoo who had lead personally the survey team to valley to photographically document the destruction of Hindu habitat said in his introductory remarks that “this exhibition is the most authentic proof of destruction of Hindus of Kashmir, it also is a decisive statement about the communal and exclusive ideology underlying the separatism in Jammu and Kashmir.
He further added that “it is an attempt to educate people of India about the dangers of Islamist terrorism and we want to have a message to convey that complacency in eluminating terrorism can be suicidal. The same mindset which unleashed violence in Kashmir is behind acts of terror in different parts of India.
The large number of people including local M.L.A.’s, councilors visited the exhibition. ‘We were not really aware about the actual situation of Kashmir “said one of the old lady who couldn’t stop her tears to come out on seeing the photos in the exhibition.
This photo exhibition in Rohini is organized by Mr. Kamal Wagnoo the Secretary of Pannun Kashmir NCR Delhi and Mr. Dinesh Pandita Panun Kashmir area in- charge of Rohini Delhi and the press was co-ordinated by Ms.indu Jalali
