| 5 years old sodomized | | |

A five year old male child was today sodomized by a youth in Mawa area in the location of police station Hiranagar. According to reports, today a child namely Vishal son of Parshtom Singh resident of Mawa, Hiranagar told his family members that one Kaka son of Puran Singh resident of same area had forcibly sodomized him in which the child got serious injuries. The family members of the child took him to police station and complained in a police station in this regard.
After booking the complaint, police registered a case in this regard under section 377 RPC and arrested the accused and took the child to hospital for medical checkup. Police is investigating the matter.
