JAMMU, Apr 12: As many as 75 boys were picked by the penal of selectors and senior police officers from twin districts of Jammu and Kashmir for the forthcoming Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCL) meant for J&K cricketers. Around 350 cricketers, including those current and former first class cricketers, turned up for the selection at MA Stadium, here today. The list of selected players from Jammu included Rohit Bhat, Pardeep Bali, Nipun Verma, Surya Mahotra, Jagandeep Singh, Rohit Pandita, Deepak Dogra, Amritpal Singh, Vartul Bakshi, Hrithik Gupta, Suryansh Raina, Ateev Saini, Avesh Sharma, Jasvinder Singh, Mohit Gupta,Bansi Lal, Ishan Gupta, Abhishant Bakshi, Rahul Musa, Rahul Sharma, Manjeet Singh, Pranav Mahajan, Raman Thaploo, Prince Gupta, Habib, Rajay Singh, Sagar Gupta, Raghu Sharma, Ajit Singh, Nikhal Kotwal, NirbayBadyal, Gagandeep Singh, Aman Sharma, Rajiv Jamwal, Abdul Majid, Dilbag Singh, Pankaj Sasan, Akash Balwal, Akash Choudhary, Kuldeep Kumar,Sourav Chopra, Arjun Choudhary, Ambroose, Sahil Gill, Raman Kumar, Parveen Kumar, Manik Gupta, Sunny Gill, Sidhant Singh Bagal, Inderjeet Singh, Somay Jain, Vivek Thapa, Mohit Puri, Vikram Singh, Gulzar Ahmad, Atul Sharma, Anshuman Sharma, Zahid Mugal, Khalid Akther, Sidant Sanmotra, Sourav Jamwal, Tanmay Slathia, Amit Sharma, Sunil Sehgal, Sohan Lal,Dalbir Singh, Lokesh Verma, Lakshya Khajuria, Subrat Sharma, Ragav Sharma, Thakur Hitesh Singh, Aditya Chib,Aryan Dogra. Earlier, from district Kathua, six boys were selected by two-member selection penal of Surinder Singh Bagal and Vivek Sharma. Selected boys are Rompy Sharma, Mayank Goutam, Arvind Kumar, Gulzar Singh Jamwal, Radhey Sham, Rohit Sharma. The selection committee for Jammu comprised Shahid Parvez, Ashwani Gupta, Rajesh Gill, RK Bhat and Rajesh Dhar. Meanwhile, organising secretary of the event, Rajesh Gill informed that selection of the players have been completed and no more inclusion in the list will be entertained and the selected players will be placed for auction . He further said that the tentative date of the inaugural match is April 16 and the date of auction will be announced shortly by the chairman of the organising committee, Director General of J&K Police. |
