| Vivek Gupta appointed RJD provincial president | | |

The Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) state president, Syed Ghulam Nabi Forah in consultation with RJD supreme, and railway minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav appointed Vivek Gupta as provincial president of the party for Jammu region.
As per press release, Forah has criticized the working of present coalition government. He said, due to irregular drinking water supply and un-scheduled cuts in power have made peoples life miserable. He asked the party workers to start membership drive and apprise the common man about the programme and policies of RJD. He also appealed erstwhile Janta Dal leaders and workers to regain RJD.
