Chairman of National Panthers Party and member National Integration Council Bhim Singh in a press statement issued today have strongly criticized the alleged bias attitude of Congress Party against Dogras which he said has surfaced after not nominating Karan Singh as presidential candidate of the party.
Bhim said, Congress party ruled country for about six decades exposed itself for the first time on its hostile attitude towards Dogras in ignoring its great intellectual, philanthropist honest world high ranking philosopher, secular at core, diplomat and political personality of international repute.
He said, if Singh had been nominated for the post he would have been a real substitute to former President Dr. Radha Krishnan’s cultural legacy and Jawahar Lal Nehru’s international vision and political heritage. Bhim said, the only disqualification was that he was son of greatest patriot, who acceded state with union of India, despite facing invasion from Pakistan. He said, it was his father Maharaja Hari Singh who in 1931 sitting face to face in round table conference spoke against British rule.
“Alleging”, that congress and communists have demonstrated before the world by deliberating and with malafide intention, axing the name of Dr. Karan Singh from the list of presidential candidate, the NPP chief, describe it “a naked act of revenge and bias against the Dogras. It is an insult to the great Dogras and complete expose of the congress bias against these who have laid down their lives for the defence of the country and creators of Jammu and Kashmir state.
The historians right history, while Dogras have written geography of Bharat, with their blood, let the nation awake to this tertiary against the great patriot, the statement added.
