| Cache recovered in Sumber area | | |
Jammu June 18- Security police recovered a cache of arms during a search operation in general area of Lovely Gaili Sumber in Ramban area.
A police release said that STF Sumber and 58 RR recovered some arms and ammunition when a joint operation was launched in the genera area of Lovely Gali Sumber falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramban during June 15-16.
During the operation an encounter took place and the anti-national elements fled away taking the advantage of darkness and thick forests, he said adding that search operation to trace out the militants was continuing, when the reports last came in.
However, during the search, the forces have recovered one UMG, one UBGL round, 400 rounds of AK, 20 SLR rounds and one wireless set from the site of encounter, the reports said.
