| PDP condemns attack on party workers | | |
Rajouri | June 17
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) workers in a meeting chaired by Mohammed Sharief Tariq condemned the attack on party workers by Shiv Saniks at Jhiri –Akhnoor yesterday.
He said the way Shiv Sanik behaved showed that such elements do not want return of peace in the trouble torn state and described their hooliganism as uncalled for.
Among others who also spoke on the occasion were Bashir Bhat, Maqsood Khan, Sajjad Rana, Ali Akbar, Mohammed Hussain and Khadam Hussain.
The speakers extended their full support to PDP president for bringing peace in the state.
