| One injured in gun fight between over a land dispute | | |

One person was critically injured in a gun fight between two parties over a land dispute between two parties in village Danhore of border district Rajouri here this afternoon. The critically injured have been shifted to Jammu Medical college for treatment while about half a dozen people including the main accused of the incident have been arrested by police.
Police sources said, that in an incident of its own kind, some civilians of village Danhore under the jurisdiction of police station Rajouri used their private licensed guns in a clash between the two parties over a land dispute between the two in the village. In the incident, one person identified as Nazir Hussain received multiple shots of a 12 bore gun used by Master Mohd Hussain party. The injured Hussain was later shifted to district hospital Rajouri where the doctors told his condition critical. Later, he was shifted to medical college Jammu for specialised treatment. Soon after the incident, a police party led by Dy SP heaquarters Rajouri K S Jasrotia and SHO Zakir Shaheen Mirza reached on the spot and defused the tension before taking the accused in to custody. The situation was still tense in the village till the last reports came in. However, large number of police and other paramilitary personal have been deployed in the village to avoid any further tension, said sources.
