As part of military civic action prgoramme, the Barasingha battalion of Krishna Ghati Brigade organized a cricket tournament at Mendhar.
The 10 day long tournament was inaugurated by Brigadier Gurdeep Singh, Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade. Teams from Mendhar, Poonch and Surankote would be participating in the tournament. The finals will be held on 24 June 2007.
