The ex-servicemen in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Dev Raj Bhagat discussed the problems of the ex-servicemen and war widows and demanded exemption in VAT on canteen services.
The meeting decided to take up the problems with the higher authorities for seeking redressal of the same at the earliest.
The meeting among others was attended by Capitan Puran Chand Thapa, Jaswant Singh, Suresh Saini, Harbans Lal, Rattan Chand, Chunni Lal, Subedar Natha Ram, Bishan Dass and Darshan Lal.
