| Corrupt engineers of R&B won't be spared: Sambyal | | | Jammu, June 18 Alleging that there are still black sheep's in the government departments and bureaucracy who indulge in corrupt practices, Seva Dal Chief Balvinder Singh Sambyal today said that no one how so ever high he may is, would be spared by the coalition government led by congress in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued here today, Seva Dal Chief said that despite continuous efforts of chief minister some corrupt officers and engineers were still misappropriating government funds. Sambyal claimed that more than sixty contractors of Jammu region informed him about the corrupt practices adopted by some departments particularly, S.E Roads and Building Department (Udhampur), who knows no limits while allotting works. He alleged that the nexus of some contractors and engineers was reported from Udhampur R&B Division for misappropriation of government funds. He said that if no action was taken by the concerned ministry congress Seva Dal would come on roads. He said that congress Seva Dal would strive for the eradication of corruption from the system so that people of the state would remember Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for decades together. He said that in coming days Seva Dal will also set-up committees to look after the on going works and quality work would be ensured so that the funds under various center/state sponsored schemes are properly utilized. Lauding the role of coalition government, Sambyal said that last one and half year witnessed remarkable development in the state. He said that the slogan of coalition government led by chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was for the people, by the people and of the people. He said that besides development of infrastructure government has changed the education system of rural areas by opening more and more schools and universities in the state |
