Batwal Community holds Socio-Religious

Jammu | June 20
The J&K Batwal Community organized a Socio-religious Function at Village Kothe Chohala, in R.S. Pura Tehsil which was attended by hundreds of people hailing from Batala, Ludhiana, Saharan Pur and various other parts of the state. The functions was organized by Lt. Col (retd) Mahohar Lal Kaith.
Municipal Councilor, Munshi Ram Kaith hailing from Ludhiana expressed concern over the evils of dowry the gathering to refrain from selling land for the purpose. He advised the people to provide quality education to their children and said the education enlightens a man and it is the only catalyst for a social change.
Lt. Col (retd) Kaith urged the community people to come forward and fight against prevailing social evils. He, however norms and sought to restrain the community against lavish spendings during marriages.
Religious persons speaking during the sat sang send the teachings of Indian saints and seers highlight the value of tolerance, patience self control and austerity in human life. They urged gathering to be truly religious and worthy of acceptance at the Father’s Court.
