| Deputation of ousted excise, employees call on chief secretary | | |
Jammu | June 20
A deputation of ousted employees of excise and commercial taxes associated led by its state president Adil Rashid Khan called on state chief secretary here the other day.
Deputation discussed the demands of ousted employees and requested him that all the ousted employees of the department be taken back. They also apprised him that chief minister have also given assurances for their absorption in the department but for the last five months their file is pending in Law deptt, and till date no action has been taken.
Chief secretary assured the deputation that he will look into the matter on priority bases.
The on-going strike of there ousted employees enter 141 day today.
