| Case against BJP MLA and two others for outraging modesty and threatening her | | | JAIPUR June 20: Following the court direction, the Rajasthan police have registered a case against BJP MLA and former minister Ram Kishore Meena and two of his accomplices for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman and threatening to kill her. As per reports the Police registered the case in this regard in the Malviya Nagar police station following court order on a complaint filed by the victim, a resident of the same locality. The case has also been referred to CID (Crime Branch) for further investigation. Reports added that the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Meena Awasthi had directed the local police on Tuesday to register the case against the Sikaraya MLA and his accomplices Harji Ram and Suresh Soni and inquire into the matter. According to the appellant's lawyer Manoj Ajmeira, the victim has stated that Meena and his accomplices had helped her with cash and in kind to get her daughters married off and in return tried to outrage her modesty. Refuting the allegation as baseless, Meena said that the woman had approached him for financial assistance to get her daughters married off and he had helped her, after which he had never met her. The MLA further asserted that truth would come out after investigation and has imposed his faith in law of the nation.
