| Chib hails foreign tourists imitative in keeping ‘Dal-Lake’ pollution free. | | |

MLC, R.S. Chib has hailed the efforts of two foreign nationalist, one from germany and other from Austria who have taken initiative in keeping Dal-Lake Pollution free.
Chib in a statement has said, that people of state in general and state government in particular he grateful to Dr. Marc Losungen and Bright Lenger for the initiative taken by them, in keeping Dal-Lake free from Pollution even they have spent about Rs. 35,000 from their own pockets for clearing the Lake, he said.
Chib also appreciated the support from House Boat Owners Association and Valleys Citizens Council members for their cooperation to Dr. Marc and Bright Lenger. He has appealed to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to direct the Lake Water Ways Development Authority (Lawda) to associate with the persons to make the Dal Lake totally pollution free. He also expressed confidence that the judgements passed by the High Court from time to time to ensure that the Dal Lake is kept free from pollution will be fully implemented in letter and spirit to save this world famous lake from further deteriotion.
Chib further added that though many steps have already been taken by the present Govt. to save this lake yet the Govt. must learn a lesson from these two tourists.
