| Shiv Sena to launch agitation against tax on vegetables fruits | | |

The workers of Shiv Sena (SS) hold massive protest rally against Ghulam Nabi Azad led coalition government for imposing 1 % tax on vegetables through J&K agriculture produce marketing department here today.
The Sr. leader and general secretary of the party, Ashok Gupta, while addressing the protective lashed at the government for imposing the tax on poor masses. He said with this tax process of Onion, Pea, Potatoes, and of other vegetables and fruits will touch new heights. He appealed the govt. not to impose this tax as it will prove un-necessary burden on poor people.
Gupta further said, if the govt. fails to withdraw this tax, Shiv Sena will be forced to launch agitation. In the rally he appealed the general masses to come forward and fight tooth nail against the anti-people policies of the government.
Others who also spoke on the occasion were Darshan Gupta, Kundan Lal, Vijay Chawla, Rajiv Bhandari and others.
