Labourer receives 60 percent burns

Jammu, May 4: A 25 year-old labourer received severe burn injuries after the kiosk he was staying caught fire mysteriously at Makwal. "The injured has been identified as Mukesh (25) sonof Parkash Rai of Bihar presently at Makwal, police sources said. They said that the shanty hutment the injured was presently residing caught fire resulting critical burn injuries to Mukesh. His neighbours shifted him to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu immediately, where the doctors started his treatment. Meanwhile concerned police have taken cognizance in this regard and said that as per hospital records the injured had received atleast 60 percent burns and his condition was stated to be critical when last reports came in.
