| Pratibha Patil resigns as Rajasthan Governor | | |
New Delhi, June 21: UPA-Left Presidential nominee Pratibha Patil on Thursday resigned as the Governor of Rajasthan.
She submitted her resignation to President A P J Abdul Kalam here today.
"I have tendered my resignation as I am contesting for the Presidential poll," she added.
Later talking to reporters, she expressed her gratitude to the President for his "cooperation and guidance" and wished him good health.
