| CM visits Khir Bhawani, takes stock of mela arrangements | | |
Srinagar, June 21 - Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad visited Khir Bhawani in Ganderbal to take stock of the arrangements made for the mela being observed on June 23.
Chief Minister was accompanied by a team of senior officers including Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Mehboob Iqbal, IGP Kashmir Zone S. M. Sahai and Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal G. N. Bodha.
Azad interacted with the pilgrims, organizers of the mela and general public.
Chief Minister said "we have to showcase this pilgrimage centre for countrywide pilgrim tourism, as such, appropriate facilities are required to be created in the Khir Bhawani complex.
