Mir chairs core group meeting, says Congress to rejuvenate further at all levels

Jammu, May 11: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee held a meeting of its Core Group in Srinagar today. According to press release, the meeting was Chaired by GA Mir, (President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee.
Threadbare discussions were held with regard to overall socio economic development of Jammu and Kashmir State. The meeting discussed relief and rehabilitation of Flood affected people like Business Community, Shopkeepers, SSI Unit holders, Common people (who lost their houses) , Dal Dwellers, Hoteliers, Farmers and Orchardists. Etc. The meeting also discussed unemployment problem which is a big issue in the State and his risen significantly.
In the meeting Core Group Members chalked out strategy with regard to Socio Economic developments in the state, to be adopted ahead and also discussed to hold conventions and meetings at Block, Tehsil and District in Jammu and Kashmir State.
Speaking on the occasion Congress President said that we (Congress) are highly concerned for the relief and rehabilitation of the Sept 2014 devastating Floods and will fight for rehabilitation of affected people, he said we will oppose strongly pick and choose policy of Govt in distribution of relief, it (Govt) is answerable to people and Congress Party will certainly make it accountable.
Those who were present on the occasion included Peerzada Mohd Syed, Taj Mohi U Din, Haji Abdul Rashid MLA, Vice President, Mohd Anwar Bhat Vice President, Farooq Andrabi Spokes Person, Shoiab Nabi Lone, Hilal Shah, S. S. Channi, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Mohd Amin Bhat , Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Khemlata Wakhloo, Mohd Abdullah Nadaf, Gulam Nabi Mir Lasjan, Nazir Amad Bhat, Haji Ali Mohd Bhat, Shameema Iqbal, Amit Amla, Irfan Naqeeb, Abid Kashmiri, Hamid Mir, Abdul Hamid Wani Ab.
