NSUI holds convention
Union backbone of Congress party, Khajuria

One day convention of District, National Student Union of India (NSUI) of Rajouri district was held at Dak Banglow here today.
PCC, Vice President incharge frontal organizations Yash Paul Khajuria was the chief guest of the occasion, while Gulchain Singh Charak, Minister for R&B inaugurated the convention, Rajiv Saraf-State President NSUI., PCC Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, President DCC & Vice Chairman Pahari Advisory Board Shabir Ahmed Khan, and Amolak Singh Member Executive PCC were the guests of honour Qaumar Hussain, Keval Koul Sharma, Ch. Zaffarullah President DCC Poonch, Iftiqar Ahmed, Anoop Sharma, R.S. Bhat and other NSUI activists addressed the convention.
Addressing the delegates, Khajuria asked students to inculcate the discipline and dedication towards the party and described NSUI as the backbone of the party. He asked NSUI activists to develop the leadership qualities among themselves to shoulder the responsibility of the party at the grass roots level. He said that the student cadre is the future of the party and stress should be laid to develop the qualities of leadership, dedication and commitment to secular ideals of the party. He said that most of the leadership of today in the State and national level comes from NSUI and Youth Congress who are successfully handling the responsibility of the party at different level.
Charak in his address asked the students and youth to develop nationalism and religious brotherhood. He said that Rajouri District witnessed militancy during past 17 years but it is appreciative that the people are maintaining brotherhood.
Ravinder Sharma in his address has asked the students and youth to come forward to strengthen the party at the grass root level. He asked the party activists to highlight the achievements of the sports facilities in the educational institutions.
