| PCC urges Govt to assess damages | | | JAMMU:
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has urged the Government and the State administration to assess the damages caused to the houses and the crops due to heavy rains in the State. In a statement PCC spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that there are reports of damages of houses and crops in different parts of the state due to the recent rains adding that at some places the livestock was also killed. He urged the government to direct revenue officials to assess the extent of damages immediately as also sanction ex-gratia relief to the affected families.
