Jammu, 22 June
Maj Gen AC Soneja, VSM**, Provost Marshal at the Adjutant General’s Branch, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army), Delhi Headquarters Post, New Delhi – 110 011 has been appointed as the new appellate authority under Right to Information (RTI) Act 2005 for the Army Headquarters. Earlier this was vested with DG (DC & W) at the Army HQ. Henceforth Maj Gen AC Soneja will receive all appeals relating to the Army under RTI 2005, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
