| 2 killed, 2injured in road mishap | | |
Ramban, June 22 At least persons were killed and two others injured after a Mini-Bus they were traveling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge at Banihal-Bankote link road here this afternoon.
Reports from areas stated that Mini Bus bearing registration number JK03-8737 was on its way to Bankote from Banihal when it met with an accident.
On reaching near the Link road the drivers of the minibus failed to negotiate the curve and rolled 400 feet down into a gorge killing two persons on the spot and injure two others.
The injured were shifted to sub-district Hospital Banihal while the postmortem of the deceased was being conducted by the doctors.
He said the deceased have been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Wani and Mushtaq Ahmad Wani both brothers and resident of Kuthar.
