| DDC reviews development works | | |
Dy. Commission Dr. Mandeep K Bhandari today reviewed the pace of development activities being carried in the district at an officers meeting held here today. Among the District Officers, the Additional Deputy commissioner, Leh Sonam Gyltson and superintending Engineer, Bimal Tikoo were present.
Bhandari impressed upon the officers to work with missionary zeal and efficiency to complete the developmental works in targeted time so that the benefit percolate to the masses in time.
He said that a quick response and expeditious action is needed to be taken on every development works as district has got a limited working time. He said that a practical shape would be given very soon on the instructions of the Chief Minister for undertaking some projects under double shift system. The developmental activities registered last year in PWD, Rural Development, Agriculture, Horticulture and Command Arca were reviewed in the meeting.
The meeting was told that two scientists from Central Agriculture Ministry has visited the place and their observations about Locust meance is reaching soon. It was also disclosed that no Locust activity is seen at present as they are in nymphel state
