Vijaypur, May 18: Further intensifying its campaign to strengthen its roots, the senior leaders of Congress Party launched membership drive in Vijaypur constituency here today.
According to reports, the Congress leader distributed the membership slips and party brochures to the party delegates and exhorted them to approach people at booth level and aware the people to join the Congress. While launching of the party's membership drive in Vijaypur, Congress leaders said the drive is aimed to enroll new members and renew membership of the party workers in three regions of the state and to strengthen Congress is to strengthen the secular and progressive forces in the state.
Speakers underlined that the Congress is the only party in India which can provide justice to the poor and under privileged people.
Among others present in this membership drive campaign, included Bishember Singh Slathia, Capt (Retd) Bholla Ram, Darshan Singh, Dr Ram Murti, Rajesh Kumar, Gulshan Lal, Dr Chhajju Ram, Hem Raj, Parvinder Singh and Omkar Singh. |
