| Col's daughter among 3 died in land slides | | |

At least three persons including a young girl and daughter of an army colonel died after they came under separate land slides in Ganderbal area of Valley during the last twenty four hours.
Official sources said that a young girl who was waling on a hill Railpathri at Ganderbal died due to sharp stone slide. She has been identified as Chitra Mohindra 20, daughter of Colonel Davinder Kumar, resident of Delhi presently at Awantipora.
Meanwhile, two labourers died after they came under earth slide at Zari Gund Parray pora, Ganderbal. They have been identified as Ali Mohammad Wani 32, son of Abdul Khaliq, resident of Wakoora and Fayaz Ahmad Bhat 27, son of Ghulam Samad Bhat, resident of Parray pora Kurhama, Ganderbal.
Police has registered a case in this regard and taken up the investigation
