Kishtwar, June 25—Stat BJP General Secretary Bali Bhagat has strongly condemned grenade attack by terrorists at Doda Bus stand today injuring 16 persons, many of them seriously and said that it should serve as an eye opener to those who have been advocating troops’ withdrawal from the state..
Bali Bhagat ridiculing the votaries of demilitarization, troops’ reduction and withdrawal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) and said that recent spurt in terrorist violence is the result of confusing signals emanating from coalition partner in the state. He demanded that security forces be given free hand to deal with Pak-sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir to safeguard the life and property of the people.
He demanded that each injured in the terrorist attack be given RS. one lakh ex-gratia and free medicare for their speedy recovery, adding that security grid across the state particularly Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts the strengthened.
