Doda, May 24: Everest Bhalessa registered enthralling win over Combine Bhaderwah by 60 runs in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 played at Sports Stadium Doda. The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank, Natnoo Furnishing House Doda and Green Model Hr Sec School Doda. Earlier after winning the toss first, Everest Bhalessa elected to bat first Batting first, Everest. Bhalessa set a target of 104 runs for the loss of 08 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Arif Rather was the highest scorer from Everest Bhalessa who scored 30 runs while Irshad Ahmed contributed 21 runs for the team. From Combine Bhaderwah Ishtiaq Rasool clinched 03 wickets while Touqeer Malik took 02 wickets. In reply, after getting good start Combine Bhaderwah failed to chase down the target and was bundled out for just 44 runs in 12.2 overs game. Jatin was the highest scorer who scored 24 runs while Raman Dutta contributed 06 runs for his team, while from Everest Bhalessa Saleem made fine bowling and scalped important 05 wickets while Mubashir took 02 wickets. |
