| Panthers support Shekhawat | | Mankotia signs nomination, assures support | |
Jammu | June 25
MLA and leader of the JKNPP Harsh Dev Singh has hailed the decision of the Panthers Legislative Party to support the candidature of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat who is contesting as independent presidential candidate.
He said that JKNPP has already disassociated from the coalition government in J&K and was of the firm belief that the present constitutional and other related problems and issues could be redressed by electing Shekhawat for the post. He said he is a suitable person and an acceptable candidate for this highest constitutional office in the country at the crucial time of history.
As per a press release Prof. Bhim Singh Chairman NPP in a statement issued from New Delhi has said that Shekhawat with his wisdom, maturity, impartially, independent thinking and secular credentials was most suited for to lead India at home and abroad. He appealed to all patriotic, nationalist, secular legislators and MPs save the highest constitution office from sycophancy by voting in favour of Shekhawat.
Meanwhile, Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA Panthers Party has singed the nomination papers of Shekhawat, and met vice president in the Parliament House and assured him support of Panthers MLAs.
