| R S Pura in fix: Whether Pak TV, FM Channels a CBM or propaganda from other side of border | | | Ajay Meenia Jammu | June 26 R S Pura town and its neighboring area have been deprived from the Indian Transmission on AIR and FM Radios above all the telecast of Indian programmes courtesy flooding of the high powered transmission from across the border. If it is one component of ongoing CBMs or musical gift from the other side, people mocked in this bordering town. The people in R S Pura Belt and its adjoining pockets are open to the highly powered transmission of Pakistan FM Channels and even the TV tuners in this border belt failed to resist this highly boosted telecast signals. The people were forced to listen and watch the Pak Programmes on their radios and the TVs courtesy the weak and feeble signals from the Indian channels in this respective field. ‘Radio and Television channels of Pakistan are easily be enjoyed in or town, said Varinder Singh of R S Pura and added that the three main Radio frequencies of FM channels have hit the area while the frequencies of FM channel the Vivid Bharti and 92.7 FM are faintly captured once in a blue moon.’ He irefully lament if it is propaganda from the other side or a part of ongoing CBMs. According to reports three Pakistani’s FM channel viz. 91.0FM; 89.0FM and 104.0FM usually hit the radio sets in late evenings daily depriving people from listening to their favourites oldies on Vividh Bharti or 92.7 FM and FM Rainbow. Talking to ET reporter Praveen Singh of Straiyan said that whenever he switches on his radio especially after 6.0pm the Pakistan channel are tuned only but very clearly without any distortion.’ Of the all channels the sound 104.0FM is clear and without any distortion, he said. Vijay Lakhotra and Ankush Kumar of Gagian R S Pura also shared the similar opinion said whenever they switched their radios on it gets connected to Pakistan Radio- Punjabi programme ‘NASRANA’ on 104.0 FM which is hosted by Muddassr Raina and Mishaal. The Punjabi song of Indian pop star also heard on these channels which include the numbers from Jazzy b ,Gurdass Mann and Hans Raj Hans and many others. They also said that other channel 89.0FM and 91.0FM also serve the Indian Hindi song particularly ‘Moula Mere Moula’ from-Guru and ‘Pyar Karke Pachtaya’ from-Kis Kis ki Kismat. Not only this the highly powered TV Channels from Pakistan too have eclipsed the Indian signals channels flooded from Lahore, Pakistan namely channel are STN, PTV World and Pakistan. It is to mention that Pakistan’s Radio FM Channel and TV Channels also have hit the Rajouri, Poonch and Samba respectively.
