Jammu, June 27: Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, who is visiting Jammu and Kashmir this weekend, will not only review security scenario but also make prayers for peace. Top sources said that Home Minister Shivraj Patil will pay obeisance to two of the most revered Hindu shrines during his two-day visit to the state. Patil will visit Shri Vaishno Devi shrine soon after his arrival here Saturday and on Sunday he will fly to the Himalayan cave shrine of Lord Shiva in the south Kashmir Valley. The annual pilgrimage to the holy cave, also known as Amarnath shrine, will officially start June 30. Patil's visit comes in the backdrop of fast changing security scenario as militants have picked up the activities of violence across the state as also the level of infiltration has gone up drastically. The Home Minister's visit is precisely a fortnight after the detailed review visit of Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta who had series of meetings with the security agencies to gather the ground reports on insurgency
