| Hizb commander killed in Kashmir | | |
Srinagar, Aug 10: Security personnel shot down a top Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant in an encounter early on Thursday morning.
According to police sources, CRPF in a joint operation with the Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police gunned down Major Gul, who was hiding inside a house in Neeldora village.
Gul a resident of Pakistan, officials said.
Police also have claimed recovery of one AK 47 and other arms and ammunition from the slain militant. |
