| GRP recovers run-away MP based teen at Jmu Rly Station | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 1: General Railway Police (GRP) today claimed to have saved a run-away girl hailing Madya Pradesh (MP) after she failed to clear her class XII examinations. According to official spokesperson, GRP men while on routine patrolling at Platform No 1 found one girl in the age group of 18 years roaming in a meaningless way. "Men on duty approached her to get her whereabouts but she did not reveal anything, spokesperson said adding, " however they reported the matter to their seniors immediately and on the directions of Suram Singh, SP Railways Jammu the GRP personnel brought the girl to GRP Police Station Jammu Railway Station. "She was then affably dealt by lady police in a homely atmosphere, he said adding, "and it was then when her whereabouts were obtained." Quoting the runaway teen, the Spokesperson said, "The girl has fled from her home on 27/05/2015 in frustration after her 12th class result was declared and her result figured as "reappear in physics". "Her parents were accordingly communicated regarding the presence of said girl (name withheld) of Bind -MP, he added. "The missing girl was handed over to her mother Manju and men of MP- police after proper documentation under rules, he said adding who lauded the role of GRP Jammu for this kind of social act and for saving her daughter from falling in anti social hands." |
